Hyderabad Khairatabad Ganesh 2013, the huge 59-feet Ganapathi idol in Hyderabad, will be made by nearly 125 workers for more than 50 days. Bhumi Puja (Karra Pooja) for Khairatabad Ganesha idol 2013 was performed on 4th June, Tuesday amidst the Veda Mantras. This year (2013-2014) Khairatabad Ganesh Utsava Samithi will be celebrating its 59th year of Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Suruchi Foods of Kakinada is making arrangements to prepare 4000 kilos of Laddoo for the Mammoth Ganapathi idol.
